Afia Schwarzenegger Celebrates Wontumi's Arrest

Controversial media personality Afia Schwarzenegger is happy about Chairman Wontumi's arrest.

She shared a video of herself pretending to cry over his situation. In the video, she mocked Wontumi's meekness after his detention by police and EOCO.

Afia, known as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, has a complicated history with Wontumi. He previously sued her for claiming they were lovers.

In her video, Afia poured herself a drink while "lamenting" Wontumi's legal troubles. She thanked the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for detaining him.

Afia also expressed gratitude on behalf of MP Kwame A Plus to the EOCO team.

Wontumi had invited police to answer questions at their headquarters on May 28. After several hours, he was granted bail but was later detained by EOCO officers.

He underwent hours of interrogation and fell sick afterward, requiring hospitalization.

A group of NPP supporters gathered outside EOCO offices demanding Wontumi's release. Politicians like General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong were among them.

Blogger Sammy Kay shared a video of this protest on Instagram. Afia commented mockingly, thanking John Mahama for the situation.

Ghanaians reacted to Afia’s mocking comments about Wontumi’s arrest. Some noted that he was once her partner and criticized her behavior.

Earlier, Afia celebrated a raid at Wontumi's home by National Security operatives and police officers. She recorded a live video during the raid and expressed happiness over his downfall.
