Kwaku Twumasi: Dr. Frank Amoakohene Funds Actor's Medical Treatment

Dr. Frank Amoakohene has kept his promise to Kwaku Twumasi. The Kumawood actor is currently unwell and needed medical attention. During the Ashanti Festival, the minister provided funds for his hospital admission.

A video showed Kwaku Twumasi receiving medical evaluation at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH). He was accompanied by relatives and blogger Shiny Creations as he left the hospital.

Kwaku Twumasi has faced health challenges for years. He suffered a mild stroke that left him bedridden for over four years. Although he can talk, walking remains difficult for him.

In an interview, he expressed gratitude for his family's support during his illness, especially praising his wife. While he paused acting due to health issues, he continues to direct and produce films.

Many Ghanaians praised Dr. Amoakohene on social media for helping Kwaku Twumasi. Comments included well-wishes for the actor's recovery and appreciation for the minister's support.

Earlier, fellow actor Lil Win also supported Kwaku Twumasi with a donation. He visited Twumasi at home and gifted him cooking items along with GH₵10,000 for daily expenses.

Lil Win prayed for Kwaku Twumasi’s recovery and wished him a long life.
