"He'll never do that for his own": Amankwah jabs Shatta Wale after Peller's trip

Amankwah Trump Criticizes Shatta Wale After Peller's Trip to Ghana

Ghanaian actor Amankwah Trump has criticized Shatta Wale. His comments follow Nigerian star Peller's recent trip to Ghana. The trip was sponsored by Shatta Wale from April 10 to 13.

In an interview, Amankwah stated that Shatta Wale treats Nigerian artists better than Ghanaians. He believes no Ghanaian would receive the same treatment as Peller did. This opinion gained traction on social media.

Peller arrived at Kotoka International Airport in Accra and was treated like royalty. He was driven in a luxurious convoy arranged by Shatta Wale’s ride-hailing service, Shaxi. After arriving, he stayed in a luxury apartment owned by Shatta Wale.

Later, Peller toured Shatta Wale's two-million-dollar mansion in East Legon. During their time together, Shatta referred to Peller as his junior brother. They visited Nima, where fans gathered for photos and money spraying.

Amankwah expressed frustration over the lack of support for Ghanaian artists in Nigeria. He noted that even top artists like Sarkodie struggle for recognition there. His comments have sparked discussions online, with many agreeing with his views.

Some Ghanaians reacted positively to Amankwah’s statements on social media. One user remarked that he spoke the truth but expected backlash for it. Another pointed out that many talented Ghanaians lack promotion compared to Nigerian artists.

Meanwhile, Peller's girlfriend expressed her displeasure about his behavior during the trip. She felt he disrespected their relationship by interacting too closely with female content creators while in Ghana.

Overall, Amankwah Trump's remarks highlight ongoing tensions between Ghanaian and Nigerian artists regarding support and recognition in the music industry.
