Dr. Likee Praises Ibrahim Mahama for Funding Suzy Pinamang's Eye Surgery

Dr. Likee recently praised Ibrahim Mahama for funding Suzy Pinamang's eye surgery. Suzy is a Bantama SDA SHS student who was accidentally shot. The Kumawood actor believes Ibrahim deserves a statue for his help.

In an interview with Poleeno Multimedia, Dr. Likee commended the CEO of Engineers and Planners. He noted that Ibrahim reached out to Suzy’s family and covered her surgery costs. Dr. Likee emphasized that Ibrahim has helped many people in need over the years.

He stated, “Our father (Ibrahim Mahama) has really done well.” He suggested building a statue to honor him for his generosity. Dr. Likee also urged Ghanaians to pray for Suzy’s recovery from her injury.

On May 5, 2025, Ibrahim Mahama flew Suzy and her family from Kumasi to Accra for surgery at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. Videos showed Suzy being evaluated by doctors upon arrival at the facility.

Suzy sustained a severe eye injury when a classmate accidentally shot her on April 4, 2025. The suspect, Bernard, was arrested but later released on bail despite protests from Suzy's family.

Suzy’s family reported that Bernard's family offered only GH¢1,000 as compensation. They appealed to Ghanaians for assistance in funding her surgery to restore her eyesight.

Social media users reacted to Dr. Likee's remarks about Ibrahim Mahama. Comments included praise for both men and discussions about who truly deserves recognition.

Earlier reports indicated that Suzy might undergo surgery abroad based on medical advice. Ibrahim Mahama was processing her travel documents and awaiting a doctor's referral letter.
