"He reminds me of Kwadee": Serwaa Amihere falls in love with Fameye

Serwaa Amihere Praises Fameye's New Song, Compares Him to Kwadee

Serwaa Amihere has praised Ghanaian rapper Fameye's new song, "Fortified." The song was released on February 19, 2025. She shared the music video in a recent post.

Amihere called Fameye a talented artist. She noted that he reminds her of hiplife veteran Kwadee.

Fameye released "Fortified" and followed up with a music video on April 24. The song showcases his storytelling skills about life's realities.

Born Peter Fameye Bozah, the 30-year-old rapper has gained popularity in Ghana and beyond. He believes that music is spiritual and often draws inspiration from Kwadee.

Fameye has long admired Okomfour Kwadee. In 2020, he paid tribute to him through a eulogy. Kwadee has struggled with mental health issues for over a decade.

Reports indicate that he is currently with his family in Mirigu Nabango, Upper East Region. Fameye previously apologized for using Kwadee's image in his song.

Despite some criticism, Fameye continues to honor Kwadee in his work. In her post, Serwaa Amihere expressed her support for Fameye’s talent.

She said, “Fameye reminds me of Kwadee. Very talented artist. Congratulations on this one.” Her comments were well-received by fans and listeners.

Many Ghanaians reacted positively to her endorsement of Fameye. Comments included praise for both artists and their musical styles.

In related news, Okomfour Kwadee's mother recently spoke about her son's condition. She revealed that she had not seen him for five days and filed a missing persons report.

Fans are concerned about his well-being after seeing videos of him looking frail online.
