Dada KD Was Not Shot: Manager Clarifies

Dada KD's management addressed recent rumors about the late singer. Reports circulated on May 16, 2025, claiming he was shot.

In an interview with Adom FM on May 17, his manager confirmed the news. Dada KD was found restless at home around 4 PM. He was taken to Gbawe Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

The manager also spoke about the false rumors surrounding Dada KD's death. Earlier reports suggested he was involved in a shooting incident. His manager urged bloggers to stop spreading such misinformation.

Dada KD began his music career as a church instrumentalist at age 15. After secondary school, he joined a band and started performing. He recorded his first album, "Honey Love," after meeting Michael Osei Agyeman.

His career gained momentum with albums like "Adi Nye Wo'" and "'Eden na megyee." These successes led to international recognition in 1998. With nine albums, he is celebrated for his love songs and is a highlife great.

In 2004, he won Best Male Vocal Artist at the Ghana Music Awards in Britain. Although based in Germany now, he frequently returns to promote his music.
