John Dumelo Donates Cattle to Mosques for Eid al-Adha
On June 6, 2025, John Dumelo donated cattle to mosques in Ayawaso West Wuogon. This was part of the Eid al-Adha celebrations. The Deputy Minister of Agriculture visited the communities with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Dr. Michael Mensah.
They presented the cattle to mosque leaders and interacted with them. Many Ghanaians praised Dumelo on social media for his generous donation.
Dumelo shared a video of the event on Instagram. He wrote about donating cattle alongside MCE Dr. Mensah in his post. His efforts were well-received by constituents who appreciated his commitment.
Since winning the parliamentary seat in 2024, Dumelo has worked hard to improve lives in his constituency. He has built strong relationships by participating in community activities regularly.
Recently, he used his first salary as an MP to buy gifts for widows during Easter. In March, he joined YouTuber Wode Maya and others for a sanitation campaign in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
Dumelo helped clear gutters at Okponglo and donated GH₵10,000 for equipment costs. He also collaborated with Urban Roads to fix traffic lights at Okponglo junction.
Social media users expressed their support for Dumelo's actions. Comments included praise for his leadership and dedication to serving constituents effectively.
