Agradaa Exposes Empress Gifty for Allegedly Renting Her Home

Evangelist Patricia Aseidua, known as Agradaa, has made claims about Empress Gifty. She alleges that Gifty and her family live in a rented apartment. Agradaa owns three houses in the Ga South constituency and showcased one in a recent video.

The feud began after Gifty's husband, Hopeson Adorye, commented on Agradaa’s $800 gift from Sammy Gyamfi. In her video, Agradaa stated that Gifty and her wealthy husband are tenants. She expressed disdain for those who rent homes and prefers to associate with homeowners.

Agradaa also highlighted her own mansion to emphasize financial success. She contrasted her natural beauty with Gifty's rumored cosmetic enhancements. This comment intensified their public feud and sparked discussions about self-image among female celebrities in Ghana.

In response to Agradaa's remarks, Empress Gifty has filed a defamation lawsuit against her. The lawsuit was submitted at the Tema High Court on May 20, 2025. Gifty is seeking GH¢20 million in damages for slander and libel.

Her lawsuit includes four main claims against Agradaa. It requests a perpetual injunction to stop further defamatory statements about her. Additionally, she demands the removal of all videos featuring Agradaa's alleged defamatory comments from social media platforms.

Gifty is also seeking coverage for legal costs, including attorney fees. Earlier reports noted that she was well-dressed at Richard Quaye’s birthday party, where she wore an elegant outfit that received positive attention online.
