"I'm strict": McBrown says her kids use phones on weekends only, GH react

**Nana Ama McBrown Limits Phone Use for Her Kids**

Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has strict rules about phone use. Her children can only use their phones on weekends. From Monday to Friday, they focus on their studies.

In a recent interview, she shared her parenting philosophy. She wants to teach her kids responsibility and independence as they grow up. Nana Ama also cares for her siblings' children and two from her husband's previous relationships.

She discussed the challenges of being a celebrity parent. Criticism of her choices can be harsh, so she maintains a positive public image. During an interview with Thelma Wright, she explained her structured schedule.

Nana Ama is usually free on Mondays. This time allows her to spend quality moments with her children, including Maxin and her adopted daughter. She emphasized the importance of being present in their lives.

"I am very strict," she said. "When you wake up, brush your teeth and get ready." All her children have mobile phones but follow specific rules regarding their use.

Phones are collected on Sundays at 6 PM and returned on Fridays at 6 PM. Her son attends Adisadel School, while one daughter is at Aburi Girls and another at Holy Child School.

In addition to parenting, Nana Ama recently opened an upscale restaurant in Ghana. She did not reveal its name or location but aims to expand her business ventures nationwide.

She hopes to retire by age 40 to focus more on these endeavors. Currently, she holds over fourteen ambassadorial deals due to her influential status.

Earlier this month, YEN.com.gh featured a beautiful moment between Nana Ama and Baby Maxin during a birthday photoshoot. Maxin wore a stylish white outfit that complemented their lovely mother-daughter photos.
