"I charge GH¢50k to make an appearance at events": Dulcie on absence at RNAQ @40

Ghanaian Influencer Dulcie Boateng Charges GH¢50k for Event Appearances

Dulcie Boateng, a popular Ghanaian influencer, rarely attends public events. She explained that her appearances come at a cost. Dulcie charges GH¢50,000 just to show up at events. This claim has sparked mixed reactions online.

In an interview on The Savage Room Podcast, she clarified her stance. Dulcie receives many invitations but often declines them. She only accepts those that meet her standards or compensate her time. She emphasized that her time is valuable and should yield results.

Recently, Dulcie was absent from Richard Nii Quaye's viral birthday party. Many were surprised since most influencers attended the event.

Her comments come before her upcoming Porials Pitch event on April 19, 2025. This event has already gained attention after she revealed earning GH¢600,000 in two minutes from vendor stand sales. Each stand costs GH¢6,000.

Porails Pitch is a sales and exhibition event for Ghanaian and Nigerian brands. It provides small businesses with a platform to connect with customers. The first edition attracted large crowds near Accra Mall and Tema highway.

Social media users reacted to Dulcie's appearance fee comments. One user noted that even non-influencers are selective about events they attend. Another expressed respect for Dulcie’s approach to appearances.

Some questioned whether she was paid GH¢50,000 for appearing on the podcast. They wondered if she believes she's superior to artists who attend events regularly.

In another instance, Dulcie received GH¢30k from a good Samaritan for hair services. She initially needed only a small amount but shared the funds with salon staff.

Dulcie continues to make headlines in the influencer community in Ghana.
