"I collaborated with a Ghanaian artiste about 15 years ago": Ja Rule

**Ja Rule Discusses Collaboration with Ghanaian Artist 15 Years Ago**

Ja Rule recently shared his experience working with Ghanaian artists. He visited Ghana to open a six-unit classroom block at the Nuaso Anglican Basic School.

In an interview, he mentioned a collaboration from about 15 years ago. However, he could not recall the name of the artist. Fans are now curious about who this artist might be and why the song was never released.

Reports suggest that Ja Rule collaborated with Tinny, also known as Nii Addo Quaynor. Tinny is a prominent figure in hip-life music from the early 2000s. He gained fame with his hit song “Makola Kwakwe” in 2003.

A video showed Tinny and Ja Rule in the studio discussing their project. The song featured Morris Babyface on the hook and was expected to be part of Ja Rule's album.

However, after recording, there were no updates about its release. Blogger Ameyaw Debrah noted that Tinny planned to fly to Miami for a video shoot with Ja Rule.

Several reasons have been suggested for why the song never came out. At that time, Tinny was signed to Mad Haus, owned by Aik Abani. Abani faced legal issues that affected many projects, including this collaboration.

Before his death in 2022, Abani was involved in various controversies but denied any wrongdoing.

Recently, Ja Rule was seen partying at Ace Night Club in Accra after his visit to Ghana. The event included several local personalities like Smallgod and Black Sherif, who performed their collaboration "Wotowoto."
