Dada KD Dead: Highlife Musician Remembered by Delay

Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, known as Delay, mourns Dada Kwaku Duah, or Dada KD. He passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 2025. Delay shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

In her post, she included a video of their last interview. The footage shows Dada KD performing one of his hit songs. Delay sang along and engaged with him warmly.

Delay expressed her sorrow with the caption: “Kwaku Wo Wuo Yi Aye Me Ya ???? Due Due Due.” Many social media users reacted to her post. One user wrote, "I don't want to believe this." Another mentioned that he had been struggling and felt uncared for.

Nana Romeo also shared details about Dada KD's death. He described how the musician's manager was devastated after confirming the news. Just a day before his passing, they met at the UK Embassy for a visa.

Nana Romeo said that when the manager visited Dada KD’s home, he found him in critical condition. They rushed him to Gbawe Government Hospital for help. Sadly, doctors pronounced him dead after several hours of care.

In an earlier interview on the Delay Show, Dada KD discussed his failed marriage and children. He also shared his views on religion and belief in God.
