"I now sell bread and Gari": Rahim Banda speaks a year after university

Rahim Banda Ventures Into Selling Bread and Gari After University

Ghanaian actor Rahim Banda has shared why he paused acting. He has been busy with his family's food business. In a recent interview, he confirmed his new role.

The 24-year-old actor now sells bread and plans to sell Gari. His father, Bandex, is a well-known movie producer. He owns several businesses, including Bandex Bread and Bandex Thai Restaurant.

In an episode of Top Secret on 3Music TV, Rahim discussed his new venture. He graduated from the University of Ghana last year with a degree in History and Archaeology.

Rahim believes the food industry is very profitable. "Right now, I’m helping run the family business," he said. He explained that he will eventually start selling Gari as well.

When asked about acting, Rahim did not mention it directly. This sparked rumors about him quitting acting altogether.

Rahim Banda was once one of Ghana's promising child actors. He starred in films like *The Beast* and *Burning Desire*. His break from acting was due to focusing on his education at Ghana National College and the University of Ghana.

Before starting his business, Rahim engaged in various philanthropic activities. He also served as an ambassador for the New Patriotic Party's Free SHS program.

In related news, Beryl Bempong became an inspiration after graduating from Ashesi University. She started selling plantain chips during high school despite her parents' initial doubts about her business idea.
