"I served as a househelp, slept at Kantamanto": Nana Agradaa tells story, video

Nana Agradaa Remembers Her Tough Early Days in Accra

Ghanaian preacher Nana Agradaa recently shared her difficult past. She moved to Accra from Kwahu, seeking a better life. Initially, she worked as a househelp and later sold second-hand clothes.

Agradaa and her husband struggled to adjust to city life. They often slept in an open container at Kantamanto. This was during their early days in Accra.

In a video, Agradaa described her hardships after moving to the city. She worked for a wealthy woman named Aunty Pearl in Tema. Her job involved cooking and cleaning for about a year.

After that year, she decided to join her husband at Kantamanto. He was working as a head porter at the time. They had no home, so they slept in a container provided by a benefactor.

Agradaa eventually started selling second-hand clothes to support her family. This venture helped her become the successful priestess known today.

Later on, she divorced Pastor Eric Koranteng and married another pastor, Angel Asiamah.

Social media users reacted to Agradaa's story of resilience. Many commented on how far she has come since those tough times. Some noted that everyone has their own story to tell.

Recently, Agradaa's feud with Empress Gifty intensified after she mocked the singer during church service. Gifty had previously sued Agradaa for GH¢20 million over defamation claims.

Agradaa’s journey from hardship to success continues to inspire many people in Ghana.
