"I spoke about bad roads during Akufo-Addo's gov't": Agya Koo replies critics

**Agya Koo Responds to Criticism Over Bad Roads Complaint**

Agya Koo has faced backlash for complaining about bad roads in Ghana. The Kumawood actor is a long-time advocate for better road conditions. He expressed his concerns during the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) regime.

Recently, Agya Koo shared an old video on X (formerly Twitter). In it, he criticized leaders for neglecting roads in Kwabre and Manso communities. He urged politicians to improve these roads to prevent future issues.

In response to critics, Agya Koo denied being hypocritical. Some accused him of only speaking out now that President Mahama is in power. He clarified that he has always cared about road conditions.

Agya Koo stated he was vocal about the issue during Nana Akufo-Addo's presidency as well. He emphasized his long-standing passion for advocating better roads.

He wrote in his video caption, "I understand some think I'm hypocritical. But I've been advocating for better roads." He asked people to recognize his consistent concern and support the truth.

His comments followed criticism after he shared a video from Akyem Edubiase. In it, he highlighted dangerous road conditions caused by sand accumulation. Agya Koo called on local authorities, including MP Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, to address the problem.

Social media reactions varied widely. One user suggested he should stick to comedy instead of politics. Another claimed he had lost credibility over time due to past silence on road issues.

Earlier, Agya Koo also discussed his daughter's interest in music. He wants her to focus on education first before pursuing a music career.
