OB Amponsah: Opoku Prempeh Jokes About Compensation for Name Use

Former vice presidential candidate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh reacted to comedian OB Amponsah's jokes. This happened during a comedy show at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

After a New Patriotic Party (NPP) meeting on April 16, 2025, he spoke about it. He mentioned that he had seen footage of OB Amponsah using his name in the show.

Prempeh expressed happiness about this. He said, “If a comedian is using my name and filling halls, I am very happy.” He thanked OB Amponsah for promoting his name for free.

However, he joked about wanting compensation. He said he would ask his lawyers to contact the comedian for a share of the proceeds.
