Twene Jonas Advises Young Women on Chez Amis' Rolls-Royce Purchase
Ghanaian social commentator Twene Jonas recently shared his thoughts on the owner of Chez Amis Restaurant. She bought a brand new purple Rolls-Royce. Jonas believes she could not have sold only Acheke to afford such an expensive car.
In a TikTok video, he advised followers not to believe her claims. He stated, "Even if you sell Acheke for 1000 years, you would not raise enough money." He called it a lie that she sold Acheke to buy the luxury vehicle.
Jonas suggested that many women with expensive cars often receive financial support from men. He used actress Tracey Boakye as an example. Despite her successful career, he noted that she and her peers are not wealthy.
While driving around in the US, he highlighted how the system works there. "For many of these ladies, it is inheritance from their partners or dads," he said.
Many social media users reacted to his comments about Chez Amis' Rolls-Royce. Some pointed out his ongoing feud with Tracey Boakye. Others expressed concern that such discussions put pressure on young women.
Chez Amis was recently seen showing off her new Rolls-Royce outside her East Legon restaurant. A video of this moment went viral, generating excitement online. Fans praised her success but questioned whether selling Acheke was her only source of wealth.
