Agya Koo: Veteran Kumawood Actor Mourns Loss of Band Member

Agya Koo announced the sudden death of his friend, Collins Manu. He was known as Killa Bobo or Soldier Man. The veteran actor shared this news in a video.

Agya Koo and the Tetemofra band learned about Killa Bobo's passing after a show. They had traveled to Adonkwanta, Worawora for a performance on May 9, 2025. Agya Koo said the news deeply affected him and his band members.

They nearly disrupted their performance due to the emotional impact. However, they managed to continue with their planned event.

In a TikTok video, Agya Koo was seen with other band members at Adomi Bridge in Ghana's Eastern Region. He mentioned that Killa Bobo was healthy and expected to join them.

The band left him behind for their trip and received the sad news upon arrival on May 10, 2025. Agya Koo recently celebrated his son’s birthday before this tragedy occurred.

He stated that they would return to Kumasi and inform Ghanaians about funeral arrangements for Killa Bobo. In his video caption, he expressed how emotional their performance was after receiving the news.

He wrote, "It was tough performing with heavy hearts." He asked fans to stay tuned for updates as they process their grief.

Killa Bobo was not only part of Tetemofra but also considered Agya Koo's close associate. Some viewed him as Agya Koo's bodyguard and he often appeared in Agya Koo’s social media videos.

Ghanaians have been offering condolences online. Comments included expressions of sadness and support from fans who remembered him fondly.

Earlier reports highlighted Agya Koo’s struggles early in his career when he lived in a wooden kiosk in Kasoa. He formed a close friendship with late colleague Bob Santo during that time.
