Dr. Likee Reacts to Dada KD's Death

Dr. Likee shared his feelings about the death of Dada Kweku Duah, known as Dada KD. The Kumawood actor expressed sadness over the loss of the highlife musician. He was a big fan of Dada KD's music.

In a video interview with Poleeno Multimedia, Dr. Likee appeared emotional while discussing the news. He mentioned that he learned about Dada KD's passing while on set for his movie, *Katumba*.

"Dada KD's passing is very sad," he said. "I really like his songs."

Dr. Likee urged everyone to have regular medical checkups for better health. He extended his condolences to Dada KD’s family during this difficult time.

The two were supposed to meet in the UK before an upcoming concert. Dr. Likee had planned to leave Ghana on May 21 for events in Birmingham and London from May 24-31.

"I am really pained because I like his music," he added. They had spoken on the phone but never met in person.

Dada KD passed away at age 56 on May 16, 2025. His manager, King Pee, revealed that he died at a hospital in Gbawe after being turned away by three others due to a lack of doctors.

Dada KD initially complained of malaria symptoms but seemed healthy earlier that day. His condition worsened later, leading to hospitalization where he ultimately passed away.
