Empress Gifty's visit marked her latest trip since her mother’s burial on January 18, 2025. A recent video showed her weeping uncontrollably at the grave site. During this visit, she poured holy water and sprinkled powder on Agaaga's grave.

The feud with Agradaa has intensified recently. Agradaa involved Empress Gifty in a dispute with her husband, Hopeson Adorye. This followed controversy over an $800 gift from Sammy Gyamfi, CEO of the Ghana Gold Board.

Agradaa insulted both Hopeson Adorye and Empress Gifty online. She made several allegations against them in social media rants. In response, Empress Gifty clapped back sarcastically, saying they were tired of the accusations.
