In a video, Kweku Smoke played golf with a friend when he received the call. He accepted the opportunity to headline the event, marking his first major performance in the UK.

Kweku Smoke has rapidly risen in the Ghanaian music scene. Sarkodie endorsed him back in 2019 and featured on his debut track, "Yedin."
