Lil Win Urges Ghanaians to Support Musicians While Alive, Highlights Kofi Mole
Ghanaian comic actor Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lil Win, has reacted to the death of highlife legend Dada KD. During a TikTok Live session with Kofi Mole, he urged Ghanaians to support musicians while they are alive.
Many agreed with Lil Win's comments about honoring artists. They praised him for sharing his perspective on this issue.
Lil Win expressed concern over how Dada KD's music received little attention while he was alive. He noted that since Dada KD's passing, radio stations have played many of his songs. "Let’s not wait for artists to die before supporting them," he said.
Support for Kofi Mole Amid Controversy
In the same TikTok session, Lil Win also supported hip-hop artist Kofi Mole. Recently, Kofi faced accusations of substance abuse from Twitter influencer Bongo Ideas.
Bongo criticized Kofi’s appearance during an interview with Elikem Aidam. Following this, Kofi's legal team sent a cease and desist letter to Bongo and others making similar claims. This led to a retraction and apology from Bongo.
Lil Win advised Kofi to stay calm amid these challenges. He reminded him that setbacks are common in the music industry.
Advice on Handling Criticism
Lil Win told Kofi that negative comments are part of human behavior. He encouraged him to trust in God for better days ahead. "This is how the system works in Ghana," he said. "Leave the rest to God."
The video of Lil Win’s comments was shared on DePrinceGh’s TikTok page.
