Singer Gyakie Confirms She’s Single and Focused on Finding Real Love

Ghanaian musician Jackline Acheampong, known as Gyakie, has shared details about her love life.

The 23-year-old artist is famous for her hit song "Forever." She explained how her views on relationships have changed over time.

Gyakie stated, "I am single and searching. I don’t have a particular type right now." She used to focus on looks but now values character more.

In addition to her love life, Gyakie discussed her latest single, "Sankofa." Initially, she wanted to reconnect with an ex-lover but reconsidered.

She said, "This song explores love sincerely. It’s important to recognize when a relationship isn’t good for you."

Gyakie also talked about balancing school and music. She studies Business Administration at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

In an interview with actor Kwaku Manu, she described the pressures of being both a student and a rising star.

She mentioned feeling anxious when professors recognized her as a singer. Unexpected questions in class sometimes caught her off guard.

Gyakie also faces challenges with the strict dress code for business students. This can make her feel self-conscious at times.

She noted that when fans ask for pictures while she's not feeling great, it adds to her anxiety about appearance.
