Jackie Appiah Prepares Simple Chicken Light Soup

Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah has shown her cooking skills. She shared a video on Instagram of her making chicken light soup. Many fans commented on her recipe ahead of Easter.

In the video, Jackie wore a fashionable two-piece outfit. She walked barefoot in her modern kitchen while cooking. Jackie emphasized washing proteins properly before cooking.

Jackie also shared the ingredients for her chicken light soup:

- 6 chicken legs
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 5 cm ginger
- Salt to taste
- 2 Scotch bonnet peppers
- Tomato paste
- 6 garden eggs

To prepare the soup, add chicken to a pan with sliced onion, chopped garlic, and ginger. Blend these ingredients and add them to the pot with salt and water. Season the chicken with spices and stir in vegetables.

Cover and simmer for five to seven minutes based on chicken tenderness. Remove vegetables, blend until smooth, then pour back into the pot. Add dried fish if desired, along with tomato paste. Cook for another ten to fifteen minutes before serving.
