Agradaa Gets Customized License Plates Amid Legal Battle with Empress Gifty

Ghanaian televangelist Agradaa, also known as Evangelist Mama Pat, is in a legal feud with gospel musician Empress Gifty. Recently, she shared a photo of her new Lexus SUV on social media. The license plate features Empress Gifty's catchphrase "Noko." Agradaa announced her car purchase after Empress Gifty unveiled her new Tesla.

The conflict escalated when Hopeson Adorye, Empress Gifty's husband, called for NDC supporters to attack Agradaa. This was after a controversy involving acting GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi. Hopeson threatened to prosecute Agradaa if she mentioned him or his wife publicly. In response, Agradaa insulted both Hopeson and Empress Gifty.

Empress Gifty later filed a GH₵20 million defamation lawsuit against Agradaa at the Tema High Court. In retaliation, Agradaa reported Hopeson to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for threats against her. Social media users reacted to Agradaa's customized license plate with various comments.

Earlier, Agradaa provided an update on the defamation case. She claimed that some influential people suggested an out-of-court settlement. However, she stated that she would not accept this and plans to fight in court. She aims to end the marriage between Empress Gifty and Hopeson Adorye through this legal battle.
