Ghanaian musician Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has made a surprising claim. He says that Dada KD left a note before he died. This announcement came during a live radio interview with Ola Michael on Neat FM.
Dada KD, whose real name was Dada Kwaku Duah, passed away unexpectedly. Kaakyire shared this revelation on May 19, 2025. He mentioned that the note was found near Dada KD's body.
Kaakyire could not confirm if Dada KD wrote the note. He chose not to discuss its contents to avoid controversy. The police have acknowledged the existence of the note.
Kaakyire Reflects on His Relationship with Dada KD
Kaakyire described his bond with Dada KD as brotherly. They often referred to each other as family. Kaakyire recalled staying at Dada KD's home when he traveled to Germany.
He also named all of Dada KD's children when he was away. "I only knew he had a cold," Kaakyire said, expressing shock at his friend's sudden death.
