Ghanaian Musician M.anifest to Speak at Harvard's Africa Development Conference

M.anifest will speak at Harvard University's Africa Development Conference. The event is scheduled for April 11 and 12, 2025. He announced this on his official X page.

The Africa Development Conference is an annual student-led event. It focuses on issues affecting the African continent. Each year, it features speakers from Africa and around the world.

The theme for 2025 is "Africa by 2040: The Future of Africa’s Youth." This theme highlights the role of youth in shaping Africa's future. Discussions will cover governance, education, health, business, law, technology, sports, and culture.

M.anifest will join other notable guests at the conference. These include Abdou Souleye Diop from Forviz Mazars and Adegoke Olubusi from Helium Health. Other speakers include Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie from ARISE News and Amb. Dr. Namira Negm from the African Migration Observatory.

Additional attendees include Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong and Dr. Nadi Albino from UNICEF. Elizabeth Adeyemo from Notre Dame University will also participate along with several others.

M.anifest has a reputation as an intellectual in music and academia. He was mentioned in Sarkodie's diss song "Kanta" for his academic pursuits. In 2023, he spoke at Howard University during a hip-hop anniversary event.

South African rapper A Reece praised M.anifest's skills as both a speaker and artist. He noted that M.anifest inspired him to improve his writing abilities.

This conference promises to be an important platform for discussing Africa's future.
