"Sarkodie is not on my level when it comes to shows": Patapaa

Patapaa Criticizes Sarkodie, Claims He Can't Perform at His Shows

Ghanaian musician Patapaa recently expressed his anger towards Sarkodie. This happened during an interview on Afroculture's Savage Room podcast. The One Corner hitmaker reacted strongly when the host mentioned his issues with Sarkodie.

A clip from the interview has gone viral online. In it, Patapaa boasted about being one of the most bankable artists. He was upset when the interviewer suggested he should perform at funerals due to his declining career.

This suggestion referenced a line from Sarkodie's 2018 verse on Y Pee's Meye Guy remix. In that verse, Sarkodie implied that Patapaa would be performing at his funeral if he weren't wealthy. Patapaa found this comment disrespectful and responded angrily in several interviews.

In his latest appearance on The Shade Room, Patapaa reiterated his feelings about Sarkodie's remarks. He was visibly upset and even tried to confront the interviewer physically.

Patapaa clarified that rumors of his career being over are false. He claimed he is doing well and stated, "Sarkodie can never be booked for the shows I play."

His comments have sparked reactions from Ghanaians online. Some praised Patapaa's appearance in the podcast, while others criticized him for disrespecting Sarkodie.

One user noted that those who disrespect Sarkodie often struggle in their careers. Another commented on how much better Patapaa looks now compared to before.

Some fans suggested that Patapaa should focus on other ventures instead of feuding with Sarkodie. Others felt that a simple apology could resolve their ongoing conflict.

In a previous report, Patapaa addressed claims about his divorce from Liha Miller. He stated they had not completed their court process yet and denied ever proposing to her.
