Award-winning Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, known as Akrobeto, was in a car accident. The incident occurred on Friday, May 23, while he was traveling to Kumasi. It happened near Konongo along the Accra-Kumasi highway. This area is known for heavy traffic and frequent accidents.

Eyewitnesses reported that Akrobeto's vehicle collided with a heavy-duty truck. The crash took place around mid-afternoon when traffic was busy. At the time of the accident, Akrobeto was alone in his car.

Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene. Despite significant damage to both vehicles, Akrobeto escaped without serious injuries. He declined further medical treatment after being assessed for minor injuries.
