Andy Dosty recently revealed that Shatta Wale showed interest in rapper King Paluta. This interest began after their collaboration on the song "Ahodwo Las Vegas." Many fans speculated how King Paluta's career might have changed if he had signed with Shatta Wale.

In an interview on Asetena Pa with Akoto Mansa, Andy Dosty shared details from 2020. He explained that Shatta Wale was impressed by King Paluta’s talent and lyrical skills. As a result, he explored ways to sign the emerging rapper.

Dosty mentioned that Shatta Wale wanted to sign King Paluta when few knew him. He also noted that they spent over an hour discussing how to develop King Paluta’s brand. They identified potential investments needed to boost his career.

Interestingly, King Paluta was unaware of these discussions at the time. Although no formal deal was made, Shatta Wale's admiration for him was evident. Today, King Paluta is recognized as one of Ghana's promising artists.

He is currently nominated for Artist of the Year at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards on May 3.

Meanwhile, media personality Sally Mann sparked controversy by dismissing King Paluta’s chances for Artist of the Year. She claimed he lacked the branding necessary for such recognition.

Her remarks led to backlash from fans and industry figures alike. Veteran musician Reggie Rockstone defended King Paluta and acknowledged his achievements so far.
