Alhassan looked happy while spending time with her colleagues. This sighting is notable since she rarely appears in public now. She lost to John Dumelo in the 2024 elections.

In the video shared by Dakoa Newman, Alhassan smiled and chatted with friends. They waited for their meals after arriving at the restaurant.

After her election defeat, Alhassan has stayed out of the spotlight. She previously served as Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources under Nana Akufo-Addo.

Alhassan lost her seat, receiving 39,214 votes compared to Dumelo's 47,560. Following this loss, she faced criticism for canceling a free shuttle service for students.

She became an MP after winning a by-election in January 2019. This was after her husband passed away following surgery in 2018.

Her late husband had also been an MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon from 2012 until his death.
