In a recent video, Famela performed Criss Waddle's song "Bie Gya," released in 2016. He shared the news of Waddle's donation along with a screenshot of the Mobile Money payment.

Waddle encouraged Famela to keep supporting Ghanaian musicians. He said, “Bro, take this 2000 buy data. Thanks for the support.”

This donation comes after Davido’s $5,000 gift to Ananzo, a young man who gained fame for singing Davido’s song "With You." Ananzo's emotional performance stood out among many TikTok videos using the track.

Some Ghanaians criticized local artists for not supporting content creators enough. They labeled them as stingy and ungrateful.
