Joyce welcomed Ohema in 2023 after a long social media break. She had initially denied pregnancy rumors but later announced her daughter's birth with a baby bump photo. The identity of Ohema's father remains unknown.

Joyce was previously married for nine years before divorcing. In 2019, she accused fellow actress Tracey Boakye of causing her divorce from an older husband. Later, she revealed that infertility issues contributed to the marriage's collapse.
