Kaakie: Ghanaian Musician's Daughter Looks All Grown Up As They Bond Abroad

On April 30, 2025, a video of Kaakie and her daughter Mimzie surfaced online. The dancehall musician took her daughter to Unicorn World for a fun day. Mimzie looked excited as she played with mechanized unicorns designed for children.

In the video, both Kaakie and Mimzie wore matching face paint and unicorn headbands. They also joined other kids playing with balloons and in bouncy castles.

This outing marked a rare public appearance for Kaakie and Mimzie. Since her birth in 2021, Kaakie has kept her daughter out of the spotlight.

Mimzie is Kaakie's only child with her husband, Kwesi, known as “Spider.” She was born months after their private wedding on January 2, 2020. The couple celebrated their marriage at Manet Ville in Accra with close family and friends.

Kaakie’s white wedding took place at Christ the King Methodist Church in East Legon. She and Kwesi met as high schoolmates at Achimota Senior High School.

The family now lives happily in the US after relocating from Ghana post-wedding. Kaakie previously studied nursing at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.

Recently, they returned to Ghana for vacation. They attended Kwabena Kwabena's Vitamilk Love Night Concert on February 14, 2025.

Kaakie announced plans to return to music soon. She will feature on Samini's upcoming album ORIGIN8A alongside Mugeez and Stonebwoy, set for release in May 2025.
