**The Angels: Former Ghanaian Gospel Group Members Grow Up Abroad**
Former Ghanaian gospel music group, The Angels, have returned to the spotlight. After years away, original members Portia Osei and Linda Asante have changed significantly. They now look like grown women after relocating abroad.
Videos of the duo have gained attention on social media. Fans are excited to see how much they’ve matured. Portia and Linda left Ghana several years ago and are now based overseas.
Linda Asante recently shared a fun video on TikTok. She was riding a bus in the morning, looking happy and excited. In the video, she sang along to Lil Win's new gospel song, "Me Nwom."
Portia Osei also shared a video from her home. In it, she talked about a dream related to her life and judgment day.
**The Rise and Hiatus of The Angels**
The Angels became famous in the 2000s as child musicians. They were students at Dr. Kwaku Oteng's Angel Educational Complex in Kumasi. Growing up together in Akumadan, they formed a close bond.
They signed with Brain Media Network and released their hit single "Kae Me." This song received significant airplay on TV and radio. Their first album came out in 2005.
Later, they added another member named Bishop, who is their brother. However, the group eventually split as each member moved abroad for education and opportunities.
Linda Asante then launched her solo career. In a 2019 interview, they expressed regret over their former manager Kofi Nkosuo cheating them out of earnings during their time together.
**Reactions to Their Transformation**

Destiny Kumi said: "You look stunning and elegant."

Jjba1717 joked: "I thought they were still young!"
Earlier reports featured Kwaku Nyame Jackson preaching on the street. He looked mature compared to his younger days as a musician.
