Diana Asamoah Calls for FDA Action Against Pastors Selling Sobolo
Gospel musician Diana Asamoah has expressed her concerns about pastors selling sobolo. She criticized these religious leaders for selling items to church members without FDA approval.
Asamoah spoke on Angel FM in Accra. She urged the FDA to inspect churches across Ghana. Many church members have reported health issues after consuming these products.
She stated, "Some pastors sell sobolo marketed as blood." She emphasized that the FDA should test these items for safety.
Asamoah also suggested that pastors invite health professionals to check their members' health. This would ensure that churchgoers are fit to consume what is being sold.
She claimed many people have developed diabetes from these products. "Pastors should hire doctors to test church members," she said.
Asamoah warned pastors about engaging in inappropriate relationships with members. She believes they could face serious consequences for their actions.
Her comments reflect growing concerns over pastors exploiting their congregations. Many accuse them of prioritizing financial gain over member safety.
Social media reactions varied widely. Some praised her wisdom, while others questioned her motives during her party's time in power.
In related news, a member of Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah's church was seen selling customized eggs at the church. The video of this event went viral and sparked mixed reactions online.
