Kwame Sefa Kayi recently attended a lavish wedding. This comes amid rumors about his future at Despite Media. The veteran broadcaster was seen in a video chatting with MP Bryan Acheampong.

His appearance at the wedding sparked reactions on social media. Many Ghanaians shared their thoughts online about his presence.

In the TikTok video, Kwame looked excited as he greeted Acheampong. The wedding was for Nana and Emi, daughter of an East Legon Executive Fitness Club member. Other notable attendees included Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and Mr. Mike Twum Barimah.

Kwame's public appearance is rare due to job speculation. Reports suggest he may have been sacked from Despite Media after the 2024 elections. This followed the return of President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC party to power.

Kwame has worked at Despite Media for over twenty-five years. He joined from Radio Gold and has hosted Peace FM's flagship morning show, Kokrokoo, for many years.

Rumors of his dismissal arose after he had been absent from the airwaves. In an interview, Kwame denied these claims, stating they were untrue. He mentioned that he took a break but plans to return soon.
