"We need to stop seeing each other as competition” - King Promise

King Promise, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, shared his thoughts on unhealthy competition in the Ghanaian music industry. He believes this competition harms growth.

The 'Terminator' hitmaker emphasized that unity is essential for improvement. He said, "What we can change as artistes is to come together."

He added that artists cannot promote Ghana alone. "I try to involve and engage my brothers in the industry," he explained.

During his appearance on Daybreak Hitz, King Promise urged musicians to collaborate more. "We need to stop seeing each other as competition," he stated.

He encouraged artists to view each other's successes as motivation. "I'm not your enemy," he said, stressing a change in mindset is necessary.

King Promise wants artists to support one another instead of feeling jealous. He believes this shift will help elevate Ghanaian music globally.
