Sheldon further explained why he turned down the offer. He tweeted, "I extended a hand you ignored; you extended help I say gtfoh."

In a video, Ayisha Modi slammed Sheldon for mocking Shatta Wale's mother after rejecting his offer. She stated, "It's because of Shatta Wale that you have a position in the media space."

She continued, "When Shatta Wale was Bandanaa, where were you? You made the post because you were begging."
