Afia's criticism of DSTV came shortly after she targeted Samuel Nartey George. She accused him of neglecting the issue of high internet data costs in Ghana.

She recalled her struggles to buy internet data for her children and businesses. Afia questioned why Sam George had previously criticized another minister over data prices but remained silent now.

Additionally, she wondered why President Mahama kept Sam George in his position.
