Bryan Acheampong donates GH¢800,000 to victims of Adum and Kantamanto market fires

Dr. Bryan Acheampong has donated GH¢800,000 to fire disaster victims.

This includes support for two recent fires in Kumasi and Accra.

During his visit to the Adum Market in Kumasi, he gave GH¢300,000. This donation will help traders affected by the devastating fire.

Dr. Acheampong was moved by the destruction and the victims' pain. He promised to help them recover fully.

“This is not just about relief,” he said. “I want to redevelop Adum Market into a modern trading hub.” He emphasized the need for long-term solutions to prevent future fires.

He also announced an additional GH¢500,000 for victims of the Kantamanto Market fire in Accra. This brings his total contribution to GH¢800,000.

Dr. Acheampong expressed concern over the rising number of such disasters. He called for collaboration among government, private stakeholders, and local authorities.

Together, they can improve market infrastructure and enforce stricter fire safety rules.

His generous gesture has received praise from market leaders and community members. They see it as financial relief and renewed hope for rebuilding their lives and businesses.
