A delegation from the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) visited Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh. They aimed to improve cooperation in delivering quality healthcare.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Health. It focused on strengthening the partnership between CHAG and the government. Key areas included health service delivery, resource sharing, and policy alignment.
The Health Minister thanked CHAG for its role in providing accessible healthcare. He highlighted their work in underserved and rural communities. He also reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to collaborate with CHAG.
The CHAG delegation stressed the need for more government support. They requested timely fund disbursement and better infrastructure. This support would help them maintain and expand their services.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration in healthcare. The goal is to achieve universal health coverage in Ghana through partnerships with faith-based organizations.
