E/R: Nkawkaw SHS appeals for support to complete sickbay project

The Headmaster of Nkawkaw Senior High School, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed, has made an urgent appeal. He is asking government agencies, alumni groups, and charitable organizations for help. The school needs a sickbay to support its growing student population.

Currently, over 3,000 students are enrolled. However, the school lacks a dedicated healthcare facility. They are using a science laboratory as a temporary sickbay. This situation raises serious concerns about student health and emergency responses on campus.

Alhaji Mohammed made his appeal during a ceremony. The 1992 alumni year group donated medicines worth GHC 50,000 to the school. He expressed deep gratitude for this donation but emphasized the need for a fully equipped sickbay.

He revealed that the 1992 year group has started construction of the facility. However, they urgently need more funding and support to complete it.

Mr. Edward Asante, chairman of the 1992 year group, highlighted the importance of their donation. He noted that student health is critical for academic success. He encouraged students to focus on their studies and remember that education leads to better futures.

The initiative by the 1992 year group has brought hope to staff and students. Many are calling on stakeholders to support this cause. They want to ensure the school gets the healthcare infrastructure it desperately needs.
