Easter: Police assures of safety

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has announced new security measures. These measures aim to ensure a safe Easter celebration in 2025.

On April 17, 2025, the GPS released a statement. They said officers are deployed on roads and in communities. This deployment covers all regions of the country.

The GPS is paying special attention to Kwahu and its Easter festivities. They have made specific security arrangements for the Paragliding Festival and other events.

The statement urged everyone to be security conscious. People should remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police.
