Foreign Affairs Minister assures Ghanaians in Nigeria of Vice President’s well-being

Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, spoke to Ghanaians in Nigeria. He assured them that Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman is in good health. She is recovering well despite recent concerns about her condition.

During a meeting with the Ghanaian community, he urged citizens to ignore speculative news. He described these claims as exaggerated and unfounded. “There’s no cause for alarm,” Mr. Ablakwa stated.

He confirmed that the Vice President is doing well and will return to work soon. His comments aimed to calm fears among Ghanaians at home and abroad. Many have been worried about her absence from public events.

The Minister emphasized that Vice President Opoku-Agyeman is receiving excellent care. He promised that updates would be shared through official channels when necessary.
