Former Tema MCE rallies GIMPA alumni to support institution’s growth

Mr. Felix Mensah Nii Anang-La, a former Metropolitan Chief Executive, spoke at a GIMPA alumni gathering in Accra. He urged alumni of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to support the institute's growth.

Mr. Anang-La is also a past National President of NALAG. He praised GIMPA for its significant role in leadership development in Ghana and beyond. He noted that GIMPA has produced over 64 Members of Parliament and many Ministers and chief executives.

"This is a call to action for all alumni," he said. He encouraged them to give back meaningfully and invest in GIMPA's future. Mr. Anang-La emphasized building a strong alumni network to mentor emerging leaders.

He stated that alumni can support institutional projects and contribute to infrastructure initiatives. "We have the numbers, the influence, and the capacity," he added. "It’s time to move from pride to partnership."

Mr. Abraham Dela Newman, Sales Manager at SIC Life, also addressed the gathering. He urged alumni to consider insurance as essential for life's uncertainties. He introduced the GIMPA Alumni Welfare Plan for financial support during bereavement, accidents, or hospitalization.

Mr. Newman encouraged members to explore personal insurance options for better financial security. He commended SIC Life’s Managing Director, Ing. Esq. Solomon Twum Barimah, for his visionary leadership and commitment to financial protection.
