Ibrahim Kofi Sessah has been granted bail by the High Court. He pleaded not guilty to charges related to selling jobs in the Ghana Education Service (GES).
Sessah faces three counts of financial misconduct. These charges involve large sums of money. They relate to an alleged scheme for selling GES job opportunities illegally.
The court set his bail at GHS 6.5 million. He must provide two sureties for the bail. Both sureties need to have landed property in Greater Accra Region.
The prosecution must file all disclosure materials within 21 days. This will help move the judicial process forward.
The case is adjourned until Tuesday, June 3, 2025, for mention.
