Man arrested for vandalizing vehicles at Parliament House

A man has been arrested for vandalizing vehicles at Parliament in Accra.

The suspect entered the car park with a hoe. He smashed the windshields and windows of several vehicles, including Land Cruisers.

Security personnel quickly intervened and apprehended him. They stopped him before he could cause more damage.

He was handed over to police officers at the facility.

While being restrained, he reportedly said, “Father, have mercy on them; they do not know what they are doing.”

The owners of the damaged vehicles have not been identified yet. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
