Ministry of Health appeals for donations to Ghana Medical Trust Fund

The Ministry of Health has made a public appeal. They seek support for the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTfund). This initiative aims to improve healthcare delivery in the country.

In a statement, the Ministry highlighted the need for collective support. They encourage all Ghanaians to contribute, no matter how small. “Let us support #MahamaCares. Every cedi counts,” they stated.

The Ministry thanked several organizations for their generous contributions. These include Telecel, Alive Industries, East Cantonments Pharmacy, and KMI Energy.

They noted that more donors will be recognized later. This includes both individuals and organizations.

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund is part of efforts to strengthen healthcare. It aims to provide ongoing financial support for critical medical needs.
