Petr Pavel: Ghana is a pillar of stability and a natural partner for cooperation

President Petr Pavel of the Czech Republic called Ghana a "natural partner" for cooperation. He praised Ghana's stability, democratic values, and potential in various sectors.

During the Czech-Ghana Business Cooperation Seminar at Mövenpick Hotel on April 8, he stressed the need to strengthen ties between both nations. This collaboration aims to improve citizens' lives.

"There are many opportunities—from food processing to satellite technology," he said. He believes Ghana has promising prospects in these areas.

President Pavel commended Ghana's strong democratic institutions and vibrant civil society. He noted that these qualities make Ghana an ideal partner for the Czech Republic.

"Ghana has high democratic standards and a strong economy," he stated. "It also has abundant natural resources and good agricultural conditions." He emphasized that Ghana contributes to regional stability as well.

In today's uncertain world, President Pavel sees Ghana as a symbol of cooperation and resilience. "Ghana can help create islands of stability and goodwill," he added.

President Pavel is visiting Ghana from April 8 to April 10, 2025. This visit marks an important step in enhancing diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.
